The MSTQ module taken in conjunction with SafeLandUSA enables contractors and sub-contractors to satisfy the requested MSTQ Core Training Requirements.

Meeting MSTQ Core Training Requirements

To satisfy MSTQ Core Training Requirements, contractors and sub-contractors must successfully complete SafeLandUSA in addition to the MSTQ Core module.

SafeLandUSA must have been completed in the last 365 days prior to completing the MSTQ Core module to satisfy the MSTQ Core Training Requirements.

What does MSTQ mean?

The Midstream Training Qualifications (MSTQ) are a collection of training criteria sought by and created for Petroleum Education Council (PEC) members of the pipeline industry. They include core, non-core, and hands-on training needs.

The MSTQ Module meets the awareness level core training criteria, and it is now available as a supplement or stand-alone training program.

The PEC Safety MSTQ Core Course is designed for entry-level employees and managers in the Oil and Gas Midstream Industry.

MSTQ, when combined with SafeLandUSA, allows contractors and subcontractors to meet the MSTQ Core Training Requirements.

How is the PEC Safety MSTQ Core Evaluated?

Students are required to take written exams in order to demonstrate mastery in the PEC Safety MSTQ Core Course areas.

PEC Safety MSTQ Certifications

An increasing number of top oil and gas industries are accepting this orientation since it satisfies and/or exceeds their minimum orientation standards.

It is possible to become certified in other training levels after completing the instructor-led interactive training.

Upon successful completion, each student receives a photo card that certifies that they have completed all of the topics taught.

This orientation program has evolved into the industry’s standard program, and it certifies students as being at the awareness level. Employers may also request proof of completion of a course.

Students who pass the Core Compliance training course successfully may need refresher training to stay in accordance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
