Course Overview
This course is designed to train employees to respond to a release or potential releases of hazardous substances as part of the initial responder to the site. It is conducted in accordance with 29 CFR part 1910.120.

Duration
8 hours – length shall vary depending on the class size

Prerequisites
None

Target Audience
Any personnel whose duties are to protect nearby personnel, property, and/or environment from the effects of the release

Certification
A written exam is administered to evaluate student retention of information. Successful candidates will receive a certificate upon completion. Revalidation is required as per industry demand
